  • Given that there have been numerous cases where people after conviction have been proven innocent, that many criminals are never given any psychiatric evaluation to test for disorders, that jurys are random and can OFTEN consist of people who have no real qualifications or experience in such matters I would say no. Then there's the moral argument which I won't get into. It doesn't matter anyway, they're not going to get rid of it because killing is cheaper and clears out prison space
