  • Given the fact that this surgery is very safe, it still can come with risks involved. I would recommend getting the corrective surgery done first so that you can be confident of the outcome and know what you will be dealing with. I had Radial Kerotonomy (the corrective surgery before the laser) and it was successful, but now my vision up close is starting to get a bit worse. I did have this done in 1986 and am happy I did it, but be sure that it is a success before you jimp into a bunch of training only to find that you had some problems with the procedure. Also, do you really need to have this done? Only do it if you really need to get it done.
