My answer is: A tie, between: "Le Freak" by Chic & "Boogie Oogie Oogie" by A Taste Of Honey
-
Rock the Boat, Heart of Glass Rapture and Rappers dilight, this was as Disco as I could get,
-
"Heart of Glass" by Blondie. I think its pretty much the only disco tune I do like.
-
Several. Boogie Fever by the Sylvers is one. I also found, after a 1 1/2 hour search on Google, the song A Little Loving (Keeps the Doctor Away) by The Raes. That one was errantly pulled by the label. If you want to hear it, you will need to look for the LP "Dancing Up a Storm", since no other album has this lost gem.
-
Dancing Queen - I have in front of me a 3-pack c.d -disc- It is a great way to work out,I like so many Disco tunes- They have very good beat's -- Pattijo
-
"Beautiful Life" by Ace of Base. And also "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson...does that one count as disco?
-
Stayin' Alive - The BeeGees.
-
"I love the Nightlife" Alicia Bridges. I first heard it in the vampire comedy film "Love At First Bite" starring George Hamilton when I was a kid & I have loved the song ever since.
-
Blame it on the Boogie by The Jackson 5
-
Salt n Pepper Push It
-
Disco Boy by Frank Zappa.

"Brick House" first by The Commodores--- "Awwwww, she's a BRICK.... Haaaaaawse She mighty-mighty, just lettin' it all hang out" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C719cRXZ9t0 "Brick House" is my all-time number-one disco fave. WAIT!!! Would you consider LaBelle's original "Lady Marmalade" disco? Then maybe that's my number-two favorite. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQEgN4yVZ5A Oh, those costumes! So provocative! And then, in no particular order: "Flashlight" by Parliament --- "Flashlight...STOPLIGHT... ah da da dee da da da dadadaDAH" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPmkNPkUus8 (a bad YouTube version of a live play that I bet was really hot in person!) Oh, yeah, "Le Freak" by Chic was also excelllllent--- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Putity0ZMl8 And here's "Boogie Oogie Oogie" by A Taste of Honey--- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_BnJM_apS8 And there was another song, "Ring My Bell" by Anita Ward that I liked a lot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14m9n_TMfo8 Great question, thanks for taking me back... "Ring my beee-eee-eeell!"
