My friend who is 23 got a girl pregnant that is only 17, the parents dont want him around, what should he do leave his child or stick around and take care of it b/c he wants to be there?

  as for my friend yeh i agree its like the family just wants him to get her pregnant and then ditch her i think thats the worst thing he could do they are still dating but he rarely sees her b/c her parents, he says he is just waiting for her next birthday in Oct. and they are going to be together or so he thinks he will never leave and he keeps trying to show the family that he is good and not going anywhere but they are so stubborn i dont see how they could still be pissed shes already 6 mo. pregnant its like give it up

• well... i think that he could respect the wishes of the family, i mean the girl is a minor and i can totally understand that they dont want them to be together, i would be doing the same thing in their situation, but i think he needs to make a point of saying, "hey, i am going to respect your wishes as to your daughter, but she is carrying MY kid, and I AM going to be there when he/she is born, because i want to be a good father to my child" the baby she is carrying is not theirs, and they shouldn't be able to control that.

• yes i agree they cant control that baby and soon they wont be able to control there daughter either but they are just always pushing him away
  they just have to wait i guess thats the only way they can be together
