My boyfriends throat stings every time he speaks, eats, or even laughs. He says he feels mucus in his throat but hasn't been coughing at all. We've tried everything from tea, to water with lemon, to Robitussin and nothings worked...what could he

    If you haven't already, go see a pharmacist. Tell him or her what you just asked us and I'm sure he or she will know what is wrong and will give you medicine or something.

    It sounds like strep throat. Which only gets worse as time goes on. It must be treated with antibiotics. www.webmd.com is an excellent recource for all things medical. My input is to make haste to the Dr. A.S.A.P.
