    Your PS2 will work in any country, if you have the right power lead (which you can buy separately). Where you might have a problem is in buying new titles from that country. UK uses PAL, and Russia uses NTSC formatting. These two formats are incompatible with each other. I can't speak for the rest of the world, but if you contact Sony through their website they will tell you if there is a compatability issue.
