Go to the Adirondacks. Camp out. Get there as soon as you can so that the lakes will cold, and the nights cool.

you will probably take some classes to keep your tenure alive. or what ever that means. teachers arenot normally inactive during the summer. maybe you will find a job in a book store, reading to the children during the afternoon. you could write some children's books...or at least get started. there is a big market for children's books.

My sister in law is a preschool teacher, and her husband is a middle school teacher. They are moving this summer because he got a job in their home towns. YAY, that means they can settle down and start giving us some nieces and nephews!;-}
