How will you know my answer if you have no computer...
Lightning struck near my house last night causing my accidentally plugged in laptop to spark at the place where it was plugged in. the laptop works but refuses to charge. Is this an internal problem or a problem with the power cord?

You're reading My computer all the sudden went offline, then when I tried to restart it, it won't turn back on. It makes a noise like it tries to start up, but then just dies. Does this sound like the end???? Help!!!!
