Help answer this question below.

My wife took a Hpt about 3 days ago and came back pos and now took one this afternoon and another tonite and both were negative. The one that was pos was digital does that make difference and why would she get false pos if thats the case?

Sometimes tests show a false positive. They're not perfect. The best way to find out for sure is to go to the doc and let them do a blood test.
