i've just read it last 2 days ago that the highest paid hollywood actress is Reese Witherspoon having an income of $15-$20 million per movie for this year.

Thanks for your question.

According to Wikipedia, Keanu Reeves received the most amount of money for the two Matrix sequels. Reese Witherspoon now gets $20 million a film while Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson gets $30 millionIt depends on the deals for individual roles as people will pay more money to see actors in famous roles ie bruce Willis in Die Hard sequels than for new roles.
