What color should i paint my room?? im 14yrs old and a girl, my room right now is light purple and im getting sick of it. i know i dont want pink. my room is small so i dont want like a color that will make it look any smaller or weird. you got any ideas?

I like this color (below) for a lively room & makes it look bigger. Add any other colors. You could also paint your largest wall a different solid color.

You can't go wrong with eggshell. If you want color, use bunting or lights. Neutral paint is usually your best bet, not only as a personal choice, but for when you are ready to move out.

I painted my room a little slightly lemony yellow colour. Now it always looks sunny, yet it isn't constricting like a dark colour but it is warmer than white or blue.

Light colors will make the room look the biggest. I was trying to find a white with just a touch of green to show you, as it quite refreshing, but I couldn't find the right shade. But I found this great site where you can see all kinds of shades for yourself. You just lick on one of the shades in the sample and it shows up on the right in a larger image, so you can see it better. For small rooms I like a very pale green. My in-laws have a small sun room that is a light mint and it makes the room seem large and inviting. You could always get color swatches from a paint store, those come in very handy for finding that perfect shade.
