The Yugo.
Please don't rate this, I couldn't help myself.
For me (and only for me), I'd have to say a 1978 Honda Civic 1200 Hatchback.
Now why in the *world* would I possibly come up with that answer? Quite simply, because it was my *first* car. It was small, noisy, rattled a lot, and didn't have much power... but it was MINE. ;o)

This one:

The original Volkswagen Beetle. The car has purpose, and was designed with purpose. The air-cooled engine was also a great feature, no freezing, no overheating. And how can you beat that classic design?!

The Popemobile?
But really, I am more partial to the sports cars like porsches, lamborghinis, and all of those. Very flashy, they would suit me. Not that I'll ever own one but hey... hahah

To be quite honest, I don't think that there is really any one car that you can point to and say that it is the best car ever made. You have to also take into account the purpose for which you want to use the car. If you want a sports car, then you will say one thing. If you want a large car that can carry several people, then you may say something else. Personally, I want a car that I can take off road. So, my vote for best car ever made is the Hummer H1.
I will give my personal opinion, 1965 427 cu.in. fuel injected SC Cobra Roadster. God bless Carroll Shelby.

The Whomobile.

Saleen S7 $395,000
I will give the "historic" answer to cover the automobile's contribution to mankind,
#1 The Ford Model T in 1908 changed transportation for humans and because of it's low cost, equaled the playing field for those with limited resources.
# 2 Volkswagen Beetle. An affordable fun car that created a lot of new car enthusiasts.
Remember all of the hype and enthusiasm around this car in the 1960’s.
Why can’t Volkswagen do that again?
#3 The Toyota Prius: The first significant hybrid car, and of course Toyota gets it right on the first try.
Why can’t American car companies do that anymore?
# 4 The Ford F-150 Oickup Truck. Still #1 after all of these years. Quite an accomplishment Ford, take a bow.
# 5 The Chevrolet Corvette. Having a mid life crisis guys? Get a Vette, you’ll feel much better.
This one. FLAMETHROWERS!!

has to be the original mini cooper
The Ford Pinto! =D
This one:

a buggati veyron
In my opinion..the 09 Chevrolet Camaro SS.:)
I would have to say the Bugatti Veron (fastest street legal car) or Saleen S7 but my favorite car is the Porsche Carrera GT *Amazing car*!!!
There was a Toyota Cressida that was passed around my family from one person to another for years. It had nearly 500,000 miles on it.
1986 and 1987 Cavalier.
My 1987 lasted for 267,000 miles with hardly any repairs.
The Flintmobile

1972 Dodge Challenger T/A with a 340 six pack carb.

For generalized automobiles, history has proven that either a Honda or Toyota is the best auto made.
Look at the stats on reliability and dependability.
Its a one, two choice.
Shelby's 427 Cobra no doubt.
I don't know about the best ever made, but the best I ever owned was a 1969 Chevy Malibu SS with a 396 engine. That 'bu would fly! I swear, there really was a time or three I thought it had left the ground!
I'd say the mrk 2 volkswagon golf gti
I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THE 1994 1995 ACURA LEGENDS CAN BE THE WINNER THE ONLY CAR YOU BUY RIGHT NOW AND STILL LOOK NEW
Tata Nano
The 'Rolls' of course yo...

mercedes of cource, but the production before //GM//1994
I will probably get some flack, but my best car ever was a 1981 AMC Eagle Kamback (looked like a high rise Gremlin)! Bought it new for around $6000.00, and never had a problem in 150000 miles. Original brakes, exhaust, 3 sets of tires. Would go ANYWHERE! Sure wish I could buy another! RIP, AMC!
i have to suggest the ariel atom v8. 500 naturally aspirated horses. and about 550 kgs. 900 bhp/tonne. its unbeatable on the track by anything

Any late-model Subaru, but especially the Outback. Beautiful to look at, a dream to drive, safe, safe, safe, great MPG even with standard all wheel drive. This is the ONLY car for mountain or heavy snow driving.
It could possibly be a car that could fly, as shown in this link:

Hmm well this is definitely opinionated. I love mustangs, but also like the nissan 350z and love old time muscle cars like the camaros and mustnags.
The Hyster E60XM-33.
my 2007 Bmw convertible
its a dream
i love it
by parents bought it for me
omg
its the best
1958 Chevy or a 1971 Chevy SS.
If you ever Watch Top Gear you'll find out that the best car ever made is one and only F430 with no competitor.
Chevy Nova!
My dads 1976 ford torino (see display pic)
I have to agree with the impala guy. 64's were luxury cars on the outside but all buisness under the hood. +You could get a corvette engine in the ss models it was like a mercedes with a viper engine. S2000's are my personal favorite car but they are pretty impractical ( and not quite a ferrari...) to its defense, the F20/F22 are two of the best engines ever made.
The best car in the world is "JAGUAR". My 'queen Augustina the Majesty' loves CATS.

Rated you + just for having the guts to say it. :)

I had to laugh when I saw this! Thanks y'all. Finally undid the trollish damage from a couple of days ago. This one was particularly funny though. I certainly wasn't expecting it!

I rated you up too, thought it was pretty funny.

A much under-rated vehicle. It was so sad to see the country of origin dissolve into a mad scramble for power driven by the massive influx of Yugo-dollars.
