Help answer this question below.

I own a 1984 chevy S-10, with a 2.8L V-6 carberated. It has a rod knocking. I also have an engine from a 1990 S-10 2.8L V-6, that ahs TBI. what do I have to do to swap them? I want to use the 1990 engine in the 1984, what is invloved in change over?

    If you want to use the fuel inj. you will have to have the complete wiring harness out of the 90 as well. It would be simpler to put the carb and intake manifold from the 84 onto the 90 engine.

    You should not have much trouble switching engines but all of the 90 components must be swithed with the engine. I am looking for a 85 carberated engine wiring harness and would buy yours if you switch. Good luck, Terry, terry@homeschoolingusa.com
