From the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (p. 845):

"We are part of God's creation, made in the image of God."

Anglicans traditionally hold a high regard for humanity, and always remembered the Jesus came to be a human among us. Our baptismal vows state that we are to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves, and respect the dignity of every human being. (BCP p. 305)
