Help answer this question below.
Yes. One of the all-time masters.
Many people remember him thinking mostly of his cubist paintings and deformed, grotesque portraits.
His talents were much more varied, he was a skillful, incredibly talented painter that covered the gamut of styles and techniques. plus he was a revolutionary and later on, much imitated.

Do I like his art?
No.
Do I like the fact that he opened the art worlds doors to a bunch of new meduims and styles?
Yes.
Some of the things he did accurately dipected real emotion. Though on the other hand some of it was simply a mess on a canvas.
Like Andy Warhol, I think he was just seeing how far he could push the envelope of the definition 'art' and he did so brilliantly.
They made serious changes in art, some good, some bad, though it is merely a matter of opinion.

Yep. Especially these (hope the pictures upload lol):

Some fifth grade art teacher I had would lecture about how bad our art looked. She then, on another day, gave a slide photo lecture on Picasso. There appeared to be no difference in what the bad fifth grade art and the Picasso stuff. When we asked, she said it was because he intended his paintings to look as they did, and we didn't. I never completed another assignment from her again.
not really
my fav is salvidor Dali
all his surreal paintings i think are amazing
yeah who doesn't? It's classic
I love Picasso. Years ago I had the opportunity to buy one of his simple-line originals but my boyfriend talked me out of it. I have regretted that since then! I do own several favorite Picasso prints that give me hope or cheer me up.
Certainly. He was one of the greatest painters of the 20th century, always changing and developing his style. He could do anything, and there are great works from nearly all stages of his life. He was working so obsessively that there are also many works which are not first-rate, but when he gets first rate, he is truly mindblowing.
Depends on which "period". I like a lot of his work, but not all.
I don't really like Picasso's works :)
Actually he made some good paintings before he went nuts and started painting crap.
I like the changes I saw reflecting his madness in that painting of the stars in the sky.
