Are you aware that the current US forces represent the smallest proportion of the American population that there has ever been? Do you think that they feel that, unlike in WW2, they have been left to carry the burden of the 'War on Terror' alone?

Seeing as these soldiers come across soldiers from numerous other countries who are also involved in this so-called war on terror I think it's highly unlikely that they feel they are carrying the burden alone.
