  • That sounds very spiffy to me, Kricket..kind of like operators must have done during World War II..keep the public informed no matter what difficulties face you. We lost power for several hours once where I worked..we couldn't use anything..computers, lights, phones, everything was out..we had no backup power..so we sat and waited and sat and waited and then waited some more..we could not close as we were the main office for the 7 McDonald's restaurants that my boss owned. The restaurants lost power as well, and that was bad because they were forced to close and that means revenue gone! :) But we had "business interruption" insurance so we were able to recoup some of that loss! :)
