  • not sure , but if you can get the landlord to recieve any money from you ( with proof receipt ) . even if its $1 . the eviction is null and void ! CA law is awesome!
  • I would speak to a lawyer, they might be able to find a loophole, or the best course of action against eviction. Now they'll charge alot, but you might have a good chance of dodging the eviction. Most likely tho there would be a retaliation from the landlord, and might want to look for another place, because one thing out of place, and they will try to boot ya again.
  • I'm having the same problem, it says there "may be a court form you can use" if you find out what to do post it here ;) I'm just going to call the courthouse. Were you served by someone, my proof of service wasn't filled out they just left it the mail box. Funny thing is I haven't occupied the residence since the 15th and the are suing me for the whole month of July, and they still have my security desit. They'll probably end up owing me lol Don't mind the jerk weed obviously they're bored in their land of perfection!
  • Hey, I found the form....it's UD-105 (Answer-Unlawful Detainer) go to www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/ud105.pdf Good Luck ;)
