  • Inuit is teh correct racial way of saying it. Its seen as disrespectful to say eskimo. Kind of like, indian and Native armerican. Its just better to say inuit, more politically correct

  • Inuits are a type of Eskimo, but the term Eskimo cannot be replaced by Inuit. There are large groups of Eskimos living in western Alaska that are not Inuit. These people call themselves Yupik Eskimos. To call them Inuit would be similar to calling an Italian "French." And in Alaska the Inuits prefer the term Inupiak.
