Would you want to look for work now or go to school for an advanced degree? That's the first question I'd ask. Once you decide that work is for you, then it's what do you want to do? Do you want to teach? Do you want to write? Do you like editing other people's writing? I noticed that you're very religious. Do you want to do something along those lines? If you'd like to teach, you could look at any level from elementary school to high school. If your interests are in teaching, I'd recommend that you look for private or boarding schools that hold the same or very similar viewpoints on religion. Another option is to consider teaching abroad for a year or two. This would give you an opportunity to visit another country, learn other cultures, and possibly find yourself. But you'll need to be open-minded if you take this path as life in another country can be very different from life here. If editing is more your thing, you could obtain a job as a technical writer. You could also consider applying to newspapers. But this is one area where I can't think of too many options. If writing is your passion, then this is where you have the most flexibility. You could look at newspapers, magazines, Hollywood, or whatever. You could even look into becoming an author of a book. But you also have to decide what type of writing you'd like to do (e.g., technical, screenwriting). So, as you can see, there are many places you could work depending on your interests, and this only covers what you could do without an advanced degree (although I think some of these opportunities close when you get that degree). But I have a friend who majored in English, took the LSAT, and went to law school. I know this doesn't list any specifics, but I hope this helps.
