  • I think its better to regret not doing it than doing it and then regretting it!! However, it does of course depend on what it is that you are/are not doing
  • When it comes to making decisions that may change your life, I think it's best to go for it. I think we regret chances we had that we didn't take, and there is no way to get those moments back. I don't regret falling in love, even though it didn't work out the way I envisioned -- I still gave it my all and don't consider that a failure in any way. I applied for a job that was far outside my experience and education, but sounded like a wonderful door into a new discipline for me -- I got it and I love it! What would my life have been like if I hadn't? I would have regretted not trying and would have been frustrated with myself and my career track. NOT acting is much more devastating to the psyche -- you will never know if you could have done it, you will never know if you gave up on your opportunity to achieve things beyond your wildest dreams. How do you respect yourself if you don't test yourself? If you fear failing, and therefore don't try anything, you doom yourself to mediocrity. Make choices, act, give it your all, no regrets.
  • It has to be regret not doing something as the worst thing you can do. i mean, all the things you had wished you has said no to tend to be things like 'I wish I had said no to babysitting Mike's dog, because it stinks.' However, things you wish you had said yes to are things like'I wish that when my son asked me to play with him all the time that I did, because now he's gone and I'll never play with him again' etc. It is always best to say yes to oppertunities, no matter the outcome (as long as it isn't really stupid)(but even then, whatever you want to do). If you regret doing something, you deal with it and move on. If you regret not doing something, it will torment you because there is no way of going back. So say yes to what life brings, even if it is Mike's smelly dog, and don't live to regret what you never did!
  • i think regretting not doing something...missed opportunities are sad....
  • Its better to regret not doing something when you will be in a confusion. Sometimes it depends on the situation in which you are. Depending upon the situation you can take your decision.
