  • Is that a serious question?
  • no. im naturally blond and dye it dark auburn.
  • not always, some hair takes to different dyes with different reaction. I would go to a PROFESSIONAL colorist and ask them about your hair and what would be the safest bet.
  • Don't think so...isn't it that if you have true blonde hair it will turn green in the pool b/c of chlorine...
  • If anyone can find out which dyes cause blondes to turn green, let me know; post it here. I'd like to try it for Halloween, then shave my head for next week at work.
  • hee hee Honestly my hair will turn a slight greenish if I try and dye it with any ash shades of blonde. :)
  • No. If you have blonde hair that is really damaged, swimming a lot in a chlorinated pool can because the cuticle is not strong.
  • You need to have your hair filled with a demi and then colored with a permanent color. If you don't your hair may have a green cast and the color will just fade out. You should go to a professional to get this done. Box colors may sound great but that box doesn't know what your current hair color is or it's history, so be careful.
  • THE ONLY TIME MY HAIR TURNED GREEN WAS WHEN I WENT TO GET IT DYED AT A BEAUTY SCHOOL....NOT A GOOD IDEA! I ACTUALLY DYING IT BROWN TONIGHT, MYSELF. SO WE'LL SEE HOW IT GOES... SHOULDA POSTED THIS AFTER I DO IT LOL...
  • Only if you're trying to dye it with easter egg coloring.
