It does, but I just keep it to myself. My sister wouldn't though. She would actually call the attention of the higher-ups and complain.

Heck Yes! I mean why work to provide customer service when you don't have any, find another job!!! For those who are having a bad day, they should not show it to customers.

I did not know their was such a thing as customer service anymore. Yes it bothers me very much. Some people act like they are going out of their way to do something for you , when in fact all they are doing is their Job. Sometimes I just want to scream, Stop the whining and do your the job you are paid for.

Tremendously. I expect at least mediocre service, not incoherent babbling on the other end of the line.

Yes! Especially since I am in the hospitality industry myself, and make it a priority to treat people well while I am working. I absolutely hate it when I see people who hate their jobs so much they are assholic or rude to their customers. I don't mind when people aren't personable as long as they treat people in a cordial manner.

That is one of my biggest gripes. It is what keeps me from going to certain businesses, even if they are cheaper. Bad service and I'm out of there!

The reply of "uh huh" to Thank you" kills me. I am 38 years old now. Perhaps in the next 40 years, I may develop an urge to slap a cashier that replies to rediculously. Customer service is non-existent.

Definitely. I get very aggravated with ppl that are getting paid to do a specific job and they can't even do it right. I have met some very rude ppl that if it were my business I would fire them. I worked at Wal Mart when I was in High School and I actually loved it and even if I had a bad day I didn't let it show because it was my job to be friendly. I can't stand going somewhere now and the cashier is yelling across the check out to another cashier about what they did this weekend. I don't care what they did and they could at least say hello to me. It is just so rude.

It annoys the hell out of me. I was in the hospitality industry for years and was always polite. I hate these punks that ignore you, No hello, good bye, nothing. Chewing their gum or on the phone while they are serving you. Idiots.
