Wow-such a loaded question. Hope I don't get ambushed here. Opinion only, but I couldn't resist this one. Look at all of the leverage the WAR on Terror has given to the current administration. Neither party would readily relenquish that kind of power, especially the GOP. What do you think?

Immediately after the 9/11 attacks, I thought for sure he would be found, but as time goes on, I'm less and less certain. He has managed to avoid capture for this long, and our search has decreased in intensity significantly since the initial hunt. However, I also agree with subcool99. We civilians really can't know everything that's going on in government, and there could be many motives playing out.

Thats easy. Just find whitney Houston first.
-
Not alive no.
-
FFS he's hiding in the mountains in Pakistan, we invaded the whole of Afghanistan, why is this such a big task?
-
Stranger things have happened
-
He'll die in some cave in Northeast Afghanistan and his people will try to keep it secret.
-
No I don't and having this in the Horse Racing section made me giggle. Visions of US troops chasing Bin Laden, all on horseback like some old silent movie, don't ask me why - just popped into my head.
-
sorry but this is hard to find categories!!!
-
not really, he'll eventually die. time works like that. you could've put it in the "deep thoughts" section though. :)
-
If we could find Saddam in a hole, I'm sure we can Bin Laden in cave. Now that Bush is out of office, I'm sure catching or killing Bin Laden will be easier. Bush needed Bin Laden to stay alive to scare Americans and keep his war of choice going...
-
Lmao!
-
Possibly, but at this point we don't really have a good trail to follow. We can always hope though.
-
For a lot of reasons, I don't think so.
-
Right after Goldstein and Snowball are brought to justice.
-
No. He is just one face of what is perceived as terror. They are thousands more.
-
I believe Bin Laden died several years ago, so no. The time for his capture has come and gone.
-
I doubt it. He's probably already dead by now. And if you did, what would it change...?
-
No. He will die in the desert and will become irrelevant. I think he already is irrelevant. It changes nothing anyway. The danger comes from the thousands of disaffected and resentful Muslim youth who are inspired by him.
