Why do we depend on others? It doesn’t matter who you are be a priest, or psychologist, or physician, or a guru, we constantly ask others for advice and assistance. We ask for guidance etc. In this question, I ask for your opinion.

Going through life without the advice or assistance from others, although probably not impossible, would drastically alter the learning curve. (e.g. - feral children found that have no language skills).

Quite simply, no one can know everything, and specialization is the key to an advanced society. You have your area(s) of expertise and so does everyone else. Of course, specialization often allows for the criminal element to impersonate a qualified specialist, so you often find that there are certifications or other credentials to demonstrate to the general public that the specialist knows something about the specialty.

Because we are social creatures. We each have our own specialism, and most of us like to help each other.

(Some ppl do constantly, but not everybody) but we as individuals don’t possess all the answers and we can never be to sure of ourselves sometimes. Sometimes, you learn from taking advice from others who has experience in those particular issues that can assist us in one way or another. for all you know you could be making the worse decisions of your life and be totally unaware of it.
