I actually switched from margarine to butter (I use it sparingly) because I don't want the fake stuff in my body nor the nasty preservatives. :P It tastes better to me as well; I prefer unsalted butter for most things. I keep it in a porcelain dish on the counter which keeps it cool enough to stay fresh but spreadable.

i usuaully use margarine because that's what bought (the bucket) but if butter's there i'll use that too...just depends

Butter is actually better for you. Margerine is made from hydroganized oil. Butter from milk. Your body can metabolize it easier, since it is natrual.

I use butter. While it still has saturated fat, it doesn't have transfat. I don't use a lot of it anyway.
