Why does my dog dig like mad when she is on a bed or sofa?

    my dog does that at night 2 and i just pick her up and pet her and give her a treat and she stops >_< (sometimes)

    A dog may dig to excavate a den. A female dog may dig in order to provide a nest for babies, whether she is pregnant or not. Our dog does this it goes on for hours, pillows blanket any thing she can ball up in a ball and move around, she makes us NUTS, I do not know what to tell you to get them to stop but if you can figure it out please, please let me know,
