Question

Help answer this question below.

If you have worked in any area of customer service for more than 10 years, don't you wish you would have started writing a book when you first started? I am truly amazed at all the "stupid, intelligent" things some people will do!

Haha ! GReat Question! :) I've only been in cutomer service for 2 and a half year. But you dont half get some funny/stupid cutomers. I had two yesterday actually.
One was a german man bringing back a packet of boxer shorts, he didnt just say reason for retern being wrong size, he went into great detail telling me how (in his very strong accent) if you have a french bottom , no problem, if you have a italian botton no problem, but they are not made for the good old german bottom. then carried on to tell me how he loves his old holey pants. TOooooo much information!

Then at the end of the day had a cutomer who i had to make a new card for , the phone was ringing, but couldnt get to the phone and do the card at the same time. (and it was only staff phone so they could wait)so did the card, just as i handed it to the customer he picked up the phone and handed me the phone ! What a cheek ! to which i just looked at him in shock at the cheek of it.

well better be getting to work just now, sorry for the babbling on ! :)

Leeses Pieces is COATed in chocolate

This unwritten book is often great to share with other people in a similar situation and field. Like a secret club.

When I interact with customer service, I often end up swapping stories.

The all time, number one situation where the customer went wrong: Is it plugged in?

HOWEVER, on the flip side, I wish I had written a book on the stupid things the reps have asked ME: Is it plugged in?

    :)

It is possibly not too late to do this.

On the other side, I ponder writing a book about all the calls that I have done by customer service...
