My box was a house, a fort, a car, a plane, a spaceship, and a boat. I'm sure I had a couple more uses for it. =P

My favorite was the box from our refrigerator. I had the coolest fort. Those were the days when you left the house after breakfast and your Mom told you to come home when it got dark. You had your bike and the whole world was an adventure. Times are different. I hope kids today have fun.

Without fail, I would have my father cut two U shaped indents out of the edge of each end for my feet and hands to stick out of, and a round hole in the middle of an end for my head. I would then get under the box with my head out the hole, and feet and hands sticking out. Crawl into the kitchen and holler "Look Mom! I'm a turtle!"

I would always paint it and then pretend it was either a house or a store where i put things from around the house in it and made my brother go in in & buy things. lol i had so much funn =]
