It is indeed possible to become pregnant by inserting semen into the
vagina other than through intercourse. However, even assuming the woman is fertile and the sperm is viable, the chances of pregnancy are going to be almost impossible to calculate.
The method of delivery is going to be a factor. Often artificial insemination clinics inject the sperm into the uterus or even into the fallopian tubes themselves. However, even the low-tech "turkey baster" method (so called after a highly publicized case where a lesbian couple used a turkey baster to inject the sperm of one woman's brother into the vagina of her partner) has resulted in many successful pregnancies.
