a few states are actually debating that (it is a state based right, only it's regulated by federal government tax breaks) i say the sooner people can legally drink, the more likely they'll do it in a safe manner
-
The drinking age here is 18 and it works fine. It`s full of Americans though because of that.
-
it should be 18 without a doubt...if its not then raise all the others things that 18 year olds can and are forced to do now ...so no vote...no armed forces..nothing until 21 , no charging people with adult crimes until they are 21...fairs fair isn't it?
-
I think it should be 18. If you can die for your country, then you damn well should be entitled to drink when you get back stateside.
-
I think it should be the way it is in Europe. Officially 18, though no real minimum in practice, with the traffic laws far stricter than they are on this side of the Atlantic.
-
its 19 here in Ontario and it seems to work fine.. they made it 19 becuse at 18 some people are still in school which would make the chances of a minor having access to alcohol higher. i think 19 is perfect.
-
18 is a good idea (and 13 with parental supervision) All the other rights are gained at 18 (or lower)
-
I think it should be lowered because i have been drinking for 9 years and i don't drink more than 2 beer a week.
-
I agree with Skirtsnhose. If you can die for your Country and Vote your President in why not be allowed to have a beer. I think hard stuff should stay at 212 but when you turn 18 have a beer

18!!!, if you can die for your country, vote who runs your country, be tried as an adult in your country then you deserve the right to have a drink in your country
