This sounds like how some people feel sad during Holidays. A lot of times it's because they lost a loved one that they really enjoyed sharing the holidays with. Or because life has changed and the people that they used to have fun with on those days, are now off doing different things. They miss that special feeling that they once had. Maybe you are having some sort of a similar thing going on.
