No. There are things that happen that are beyond our direct control, but they are still the result of either of the action/reaction principles that keep the universe ticking, or the result of consious or uncounsious thought of some creature.
Luck as a force? No, I think it's irrational. Most important things that happen in my life are the result of my own good or bad choices. Some are caused by forces I can't control. I do not believe it is the same force (luck) every time.

Yes. some people are born with an aura of good luck, that surrounds their body. these are a select few people. these people are winners at everything, including gambling, love and prosperity. it just happens.
Some people never have lady luck on their side. this may even last a lifetime. from my investigation, i believe most lucky people are born in either july or december. these are people i am associated with and are very lucky.
Luck is something that effects some people and not others.
I hope you are one of the lucky ones.

No luck doesnt exist, luck is just another word to make you think. What you may think is luck is just life the way things happen. Your life falls into place as you make decisions and changes (fate) not from what some people may call an aura of luck which is just a figment of imagination. There couldn't be such a thing. I aint saying that people have a pattern set out for their life and are following it. It is your decision to see the outcome. My conclusion is that luck doesn't exist.

Um yes. If you're walking along the street and you get stung by a wasp- that's bad luck. If you win the lottery that's good luck.
What I don't get is how when someone falls off a cliff breaks their leg, and both arms, but survives people say "Ooh that was lucky!". NO! Lucky is falling off a cliff and landing in a nice soft pit of £20 notes! Lucky is not ending up in hospital fed through a drip for ten weeks!

I believe in coincidence, and the fact that it's often about 'being in the right place at the right time'. With that in mind, you can improve your "luck" by increasing the likelihood that you'll be at that particular "place".
For example, sometimes you're just lucky to meet the most wonderful person on this planet who makes you more happy than anyone else, but the truth is that it was just a coincidence that you met, and that you did something to meet him/her. If you'd just stayed at home all the time, you would never have met, and thus you would've had "bad luck"

No. Luck is a combination of existing circumstances and ones own choices. Whenever both interact in a favorable way some see it as having had "good luck". Whenever they interact in an unfavorable way some say they have "bad luck". So why do some people have "better luck" than others? Because they make decisions that place them in a position where they benefit more from the random events. We, in large part, make our own "luck" but sometimes, no matter what we do, the "bad luck" will find us. It's random.

I do, because a lot of things that have happened to me were sheer coincidence and good fortune - especially when getting out of bad siuations. Almost every time my car breaks down, for example, someone is in the area that helps me out. When I really need money I find it in the weirdest places - if I needed to speak with someone whose number I've lost, they tend to call me.
Sometimes, things just find ways to "work themselves out." I consider that Luck.

No... but I believe in objects which can make you feel positive, and that way you kinda create your own luck.

Yes and no. If looked at one way you could say "I'm lucky" because good things happen to you. I don't believe in fate. What I consider "luck" is putting yourself in a position where it is favorable for positive things to find you.

I struggle with this question. Looking back over the events of my life, it would seem I have good luck. Two people have told me independently that I have an angel watching over me. I don't believe in angels, but it does seem like I'm being protected.
I guess, it seems undeniable to me that I am lucky, yet "luck" doesn't fit into my ideology or belief system, so that's why I struggle with it.
do people still believe in numerology by adding an alphabet to their name and wait for the good luck to descend on them?
