for me it depends what the book is about, i read both.

Fantasy for me. I just finished the 11th book in Jordan's The Wheel of Time series. I love stuff like that. Non-fiction's good, too, though. I'm getting an awful lot of good stuff from A New Earth by Tolle.

I am set in my ways. I read only non-fiction yet I am fascinated by watching all sorts of fiction. I do love to read about mythology which is historical fiction.

I have to say both...I have two favorite genres...science fiction and Quantum Physics..one fantasy, one fantastic and they are related in my mind! :)

Fantasy, by far. Non-fiction bores moe, though I do enjoy fiction basted on facts.
