  • Before Answerbag, I didn't
  • yes because it is real people who make up the population of the net.
  • Yeah I love making friends online!
  • yeps. when i moved, thats what my real freindships became. >_<
  • Yea I do! Through online games/MSN/such, I've come to make many good friends. I think that it's because it's easier for some of us to express/communicate online, and especially because you don't know them at first, you don't need to worry about how their opinion of you will change! If you and that person just don't get along together, there's no awkwardness, like when passing each other in the hallway..Yay for net friendships!
  • yes. sometimes its a lot easier to connect with people over the internet because you have a greater selection of people so you can choose to talk to the ones who you have more things in common with, or who you get along better with. i only have one online friend who i dont actually know in person, and he knows me better than my "real" friends who have known me for about 10 years! i can even see myself marrying him!
  • If you mean after taxes have been deducted, and there is a net friend, then yes.
  • I try to make no differentation between "net friends" and others. Someone is either my friend or they are not.
  • I have met a handful of people in the last year that I would not differentiate between real and virtual. I was in business with 5 other Stay at Home Moms about 6 years ago. I would do anything for those women that I would do for my best local friend.
  • Most of mine are gross...I don't take out taxes:)
  • Most definitely! Over the years some internet acquaintances have turned into the best and most wonderful friends; I met my best friend in an internet chatroom years ago. A group of us that met over the internet now gather yearly for a holiday in some chosen part of the country. And just like in real life, some acquaintances never become more than that. So, yes, I believe in net friendship. :)
  • I sure do! I'm fortunate to have long term internet friends, many of whom I've met in locations all across the country. Not one has been a disappointment in any way. Our friendships just grow deeper with time and honesty.
  • I guess so, I have AB friends.
  • Yep... Had a lot of friends a few years ago in a Bezerk game called Acropohobia (fear of acronyms)... Have quite a few here, and met my wife on IM... I'd BETTER believe in it! ;-)
  • Happens all the time. It's real even though it's virtual. I've had some friends online since 1995. They are wonderful people, even met some of them face to face:-)
  • Yes. They are easier to achieve than IRL. And they're less complicated. People are more literal online, than offline. And the way you'd expect to make friends on the net would not work in your own neighborhood. People are strange.
  • Deffinately. It's a slightly different form of friendship, but friendship none the less.
  • Is there a difference? real everyday people make up the net. So yeah I do believe in them.
  • Why not? It's a new type of friendship, but friendship nonetheless.
  • i think some net friends are nice and some r nt it depends on the person and u soo do u belive in new friends means its works else its naaaaaaaaaaa
  • a friendship is a friendship.
  • I sure do,,, =D
