Do you consider your private life and personal thoughts as being just that, or as being a 'secret'?

Just That!!!! For what I consider as private, should remain private. And a persons so called personal thoughts. To me means that what ever they are thinking about. Is only for them to know................M.C.S.

i look at it as just being a private life, i dont look at it as keeping secrets.

No..I'm an open book..I don't have a lot of "secrets" and as long as I'm here, I may not divulge everything, but what I do share is 100% true. Happy Saturday to you! :)

Bit of both... most of my life and thoughts are private (unless i say them out loud) but there are one or two secrets in there too.

Personal thoughts are just that; Personal. I usually share my opinions with a few close friends. I certainly don't feel the need to blurt everything out in the open, because I'm not interested in what everybody within earshot thinks. And if it's something I don't want to talk about, I'll find another way of expressing it.

its wise to be a little economical with your private thoughts and private life, if you tell all, you leave yourself wide open for back-stabbing and judgement

I have ONE life, not two. I have learned over the years that trying to dissmulate and perhaps prevaricate will eventually trip me up. So I am who I am, and I do and say what I do and say. I try very hard to not hurt people's feelings in the process. It's a balancing act, but then again so is all of life. Generally, I get by pretty well. : )

I think you can have a personal life without being secretive about it. I don't tell everyone everything all the time, but there's nothing covert about me either!

One of the big-time benefits of a (quasi)'free society', no? One doesn't *need* any "secrets"! ;-)

As being just that .It doesn't always have to be a secret you can tell a couple of people but you don't want to tell everyone everything because it's good to keep a couple things to yourself.

Private life as in ME time. I love all humans... but there's a time where I just need to be in my own bubble away from everyone. That's it :)

I do have a private life from my parents. But when I am with my best friend I am a very open book.

I think it truly depends. I am obvioulsy not going to share those types of things with people I don;t know and in that way theya re personal and private as I believe it is none of their business. However, if I were to keep things from my family or loved ones because I believed they were personal or private then ya in a way I would feel like I was keeping secrets from them. I am an open book with the people that matter the most so there are no secrets there they know everything. Does that make sense?
