My 2004 Ford Focus was parked on level ground with my wheels slightly turned. My steering wheel lock will not release. What's wrong?

    you are probably parked facing downhill. try having someone push you uphill when releasing shifter and wheel.

    make sure that the shifter, is totally in park and then try to turn it. sometimes the steer column locks up and if its not in the right position it will not allow it to turn. its a possible solution. good luck.
