Tragically, as already stated, Kevin Peter Hall died in 1991 of AIDS. He contracted AIDS by means of an unscreened blood transfusion that carried the infection. Unfortunately this was during a period where blood donors were not regularly screened for HIV/AIDS, and Kevin Peter Hall is one of many people who died because of this sheer irresponsibility. I beleive he began suffering the major complications during the filming of the first season of 'Harry and the Hendersons' in which he reprised his role as the lovable 'Harry' a.k.a. Bigfoot character from the film of the same name, and passed away before filming was completed. He was only 35.
He died on 10th April 1991 from AIDS.
