Besides objects made from metal, what other things should not be placed inside a microwave oven?

    Melmack (sp) should not be put into microwaves. I kept telling this to some former roommates of mine. They didn't believe me until they actually cracked such a plate while heating something up in the microwave.

    i find your line of thought somewhat disturbing...

    anyways, do not put thin plastic (such as ziploc bags) in, not styrafoam, to-go boxes, cardboard, anything living, anything with explosives, anything at all related to high quality silicon (electronics, etc), bassicly, just put in ceramic dishes, tupperware containers, and already killed food.
