Yes... but since its has a merged Urban County government the individual outlying communities from the central core city have pretty mulch lost their distinction. You sort of have the urban area, a residential suburban ring, and then a sharp gradient to surrounding farmland. The traditional suburban feel is starting to skip out to the surrounding towns like Georgetown, Versailles, etc...
It won't be long until Winchester, Frankfort, and Paris are indistiguishable from Lexington.
