    compared to what? Doing a 4 year term in prison, yeah that a long time. A 4 year relationship with someone, well that's not that long.

    It depends. If I am on the beach in Hawaii, 4 years is nothing. If I have sand in my eye for those 4 years, it would seem like forever >.<

    Four years of the life of my Grandson, yeah, a lot. He's 14 months old now. Four years more of my life, well, maybe, I'll be 69 then, and married 37 years instead of the 33 I am now.

    In four years, our family dynamics will have changed, the elderly parents might not be with us, I might have a great grandson by then (with 3 adult grandson candidates).

    I would have to say, yes it is.
