If I open a bottle of hair dye to do a test strand and close it can use it a month later?

No I believe once it's opened it's no good to use later. That is what it said on mine.

Don't mix up the whole bottle with the developer for the test strand. Just mix a dot of each on a glass saucer and do the test. Opening the bottles does not ruin the color. If you reclose them and store in a cool dark place they'll be fine. Once the developer is mixed in with the color you have to use it right away.

Why would you wait a month after you did your test strand? If you mix the contents of both, it will be bad a month later.

its toxic after about 24 hours, unless its something like colourpulse mousse that comes premade in a mousse form.
