Strangely enough, some computers have built in cleansing sleeves. So when you enter your DVD that would explain why it works when you try again in your DVD player.

Your DVD player is obviously very sensitive - or faulty. Buy a new one?

Continued.....what can i do? I even clean the dvd several times with dvd cleaner and still nothing- unless i put it into the dvd drive of my computer...

I was told when you put a DVD in the tray of the the DVD player, it's "read" from the BOTTOM of the disc. One of my TVs has a BUILT-IN player. It's a PANASONIC. But I SWEAR it reads the disc from the TOP! Am I WRONG or is it just POSSIBLE?
