For car stereo dvd/cd players, does any face plate work with the player. I got water in the face plate and you cant really see the letters anymore, but the player works fine still. So I just need to get a new face plate.

you can use one from the same but not from a differ one. go to the website for the manufacture. like if its kenwood go to www.kenwood.com and go to the contact and send them an email telling them what you got and that you need a new one and they will sell one to you. it should not cost to much mabey at the most $20 but that is worth it cause its a lot cheaper then to get a new headunit.
