The Americans call it the French Kiss, while the French call it the American Kiss. Therefore, could we realistically surmise that the French Kiss was first made by a French immigrant couple on the Atlantic Ocean on an immigrant liner to America?

    no, it is just cultural chauvinism; the British call it "the French disease", the French call it "the English disease" (or rather "le mal Anglais"
