Are there good freeware/shareware alternatives to Poser?

    Well in my experience i used MakeHuman, its free alright and i belive it's open-source too. However the source is in C++ AND Python 2.6. Also you need Aqsis Renderer and C++ Redistributable Package.

    U can download daz 3d studio and there 3 figures (michael 3, victoria 3 and aiko) for free. Actually victoria comes in daz studio. Maya doll figure is also free. I've also read of 'make human' but not sure if it's shareware or free.
