States talk to each other. Your chances of getting a new license in your new state without having the time expire for the suspension isn't real good. Contact the licensing breau in your new state and work with them on this. Trying to hide the fact you have a suspended license will get you in trouble when they check.

I believe that you must fulfill the suspension in the state of the suspended license. If you attempt to obtain a license in another state, the application in that state is almost to ask if you still have a license in that second state? I have absolutely no idea of the answer, but you could possibly surrender your suspended license, but first: 1. contact the local DMV office in the state of the existing extension to determine (especially with the suspension): a. if the above idea is possible, or, b. do whatever is necessary to lift the suspension. Is it possible to attend remediation classes, also. 2. contact the DMV in you new state of residence and ensure that any of the above will help.
