borrow/buy an Amp meter to test the curcuts in the fuse box putting the probes between the fuse and the contacts, you will find out the fuse that has current running when the car is turned off. remember to take the interrior light out!

I hooked up a meter between the battery and the pos cable and started pulling fuses to see if the meter reading would change ...nothing happened......so its back to square one .....with the ignition off current is being drawn by something

My van is having the same problem and its because of an electrical issue. Not sure what electrical problem it could be on your Camaro - check your fuses and also take it to a shop to run diagnostics.
