  • It's truly odd behavior......A cemetary would truly be the last place I'd like to hang out......
  • well its not nice sometimes people do it out of hate of the family sometimes not for a reason at all.
  • Well, ya see my dear..there are builders and destroyers..builders spend their time in positive pursuits, for the betterment of things..destroyers have no talent for building, are envious of those who do, and are so desperate for attention that they figure all they are good for is destruction, damage, chaos, mayhem and mischief. Desecrating a cemetery? How fun! Throwing huge rocks off bridges to harm motorists? Wow..just got my jollies! Slashing tires? What a gas! :(
  • i wish i knew we have had that with my grandads.
  • A sick, twisted person that needs professional help.
  • People who are bored and have nothing better to do with their time. we deal with it here from time to time in our old pioneer cemetery. even though we have put up fences, locked gates etc they still find their way in about 3-4 times a yr and do damage and our cemetery dates back to early 1880's, little or no family's left to fix it so we do best we can. and this last memorial day some time during the night someone stole over half of our small wood cross's & flags and this cemetery sits right at edge of town. Most people don't realize that if their caught its a felony now. Just breaks my heart at times, I have worked at our local cemetery for over 30 yrs.
  • Most of time teens and young adults like to hang out at isolated cemeteries, then take drugs and beer. Sober I don't think any intentionally do it. But drugged up, anything can happen and unfornately it usually does. My ghost hunting team will usually try to erect fallen stones.
  • The dead cannot fight back, so destroying cemetary monuments is a coward's way of taking out frustration.
  • How awful. I hope the police will do some investigating and find the person that did that.
