  • hire on with the us postal service. work nights sorting mail. you will make big bucks so you can buy a car and have your own apartment. no skills just a clean background and dont say anything about being depressed or stressed out. they wont hire you for that. once you start working, dont be late and dont ever call in sick. just go to work sick. no one will mind. get there early every shift. say you want to be a distribution clerk. you can switch to being a carrier after a year if you want. you can find out about employment in your area on the internet. and you could drive thirty miles to get to work. two gallons of gas each way,you will be able to afford that.
  • Just remember, your first job will be the hardest to get hold of. I would suggest to try and get a job in sales, cleaning, barwork or, dare I say, telesales. I'm afraid you can't be too fussy when it comes to the first job either. As long as the depression isn't a sensitive issue, I would tell this to any interviewers or possible new bosses. You shouldn't have to explain yourself, however.
